Orleans Park is also located in the neighborhood and makes a great place to get outside for the afternoon.

There's lots of activities available including a shelter with picnic tables, a grill, drinking fountains and restrooms; a playground that includes play equipment, swing set, trapeze bar and benches built on a poured-in place surface. There's a basketball court; tennis court; and a  sand volleyball court.  The park features a really nice, stocked lake (with catch and release rule); and an asphalt paved walking trail.  For more information on the facilities and/or the use of Orleans Park, you can contact City of Florence Park and Recreation Department at 859-647-5439.  The Boone County Arboretum is also nearby!
